SIA ELK was founded, plastering floats production made of Polyurethane (PUR) was launched.<\/p>

1993 <\/strong><\/p>

Production of the thermal insulation shells for pipelines started.<\/p>

1994<\/strong><\/p>

Production of industrially isolated tubes started.<\/p>

1995<\/strong><\/p>

On the ELK SIA base was founded SIA POLIURS, which took over the production of industrially isolated tubes from the company.<\/p>

2003<\/strong><\/p>

At the end of the year new production plant in Ozolnieki with a total area of 1500 m2 is opened.<\/p>

ELK PLUS was founded on November 27 as a result of restructuring.<\/p>

2004 <\/strong><\/p>

ELK PLUS took over the production of polyurethane foam (PUR) products, mostly piping insulation shells.<\/p>

The PUR body protectors for bikers was launched<\/p>

2005<\/strong><\/p>

Company was certified for ISO 9001 Quality Management System.<\/p>

Export exceeded 80%<\/p>

2006<\/strong><\/p>

More than 1,000,000 items were manufactured and sold.<\/p>

2007 <\/strong><\/p>

Annual volume of raw materials reaches 155 tons. Automotive article production has been started.<\/p>

2008<\/strong><\/p>

Company was certified for ISO\/TS 16949:2002 Quality Management system.<\/p>

2009 <\/strong><\/p>

Export exceeded 98%.<\/p>

2010 <\/strong><\/p>

450 m2 warehouse built.<\/p>

2011<\/strong><\/p>

Beginning of cooperation with the German company Franz Kiel GmbH.<\/p>

2012 <\/strong><\/p>

Annual turnover increased by 30%.<\/p>

2013 <\/strong><\/p>

Company launches exclusive fins production for windsurfing.<\/p>

Number of non-conforming products is shrinking to 2%.<\/p>
